The announcement that the likes of Travis Scott would be taking the stage in the UAE iteration of the famed UK music festival made waves earlier this year, and now comes the second flood of artists to join the lineup.

The biggest name of the latest bunch is Mathangi Arulpragasam, better known by pretty much everyone as M.I.A. Beginning her recording career in 2002, she most prominently broke into the mainstream with her 2007 hit “Paper Planes”.

M.I.A.

With the lineup for Wireless at this point being predominantly populated by Hip Hop, M.I.A. is probably the most diverse and experimental artist that will be taking the stage in March.

Blending alternative, dance, electronic, and of course hip hop into her expansive repertoire, fans can expect M.I.A. to play all her biggest hits including “Bad Girls”, “Borders”, “XXXO”, and “Paper Planes”. Also on the setlist is a selection of tracks from her 2022 album “MATA”.

While M.I.A was announced as the latest headlining act, there were a slew of other notable artists announced as well, including iconic female American rapper, songwriter, and singer, Raja Kumari.

Fans of the Californian born artist can expect to be treated to her extensive array of widely praised singles including “N.R.I.”, “City Slums”, “Shook”, “Roots”, and much more.

Wrapping up this latest announcement comes the inclusion of drill artist K-Trap, rounding out a premier selection of UK-based talent for the festival.

Finally adding to the recent additions to this unmissable festival, $kinny, Dizzytooskinny, Dafencii, and Casa Vince will be making appearances on the main stage.

The show, brought by Live Nation, will be taking place on 11 March 2023 at Ethiad Park on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island, starting at 12:30 pm and going all night.
