Ever wanted to go to Tokyo, and eat sushi under an ocean of cherry blossoms? Me too. Unfortunately, that’s not what we’re selling, but Japan Culture-Con is undoubtedly the next best thing. Held at Burj Park next to the world’s tallest building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the three-day-event will take place from November 10-12, and promises to be as close to the Japanese experience without actually visiting the place.
“The event offers an immersive and enchanting experience that promises to transport attendees to the heart of Japan’s rich heritage and vibrant traditions. Japan Culture-Con, organised by Westfield Event Management, promises to give a sneak peek into the diverse culture of Japan like never before,” according to organisers of the event.

From traditional tea ceremonies to stage and voice-over performances from renowned Japanese artists, the event will also debut an exclusive Japanese Maids Cafe, MAID-ON, guaranteed to tantalise your tastebuds.

“We are extremely excited to bring Japan Culture-Con to Dubai, after years of working with Japan on various e vents we are happy to finally bring the people of UAE a unique and exquisite experience of the beautiful Japanese Culture,” said Keisaku Nishida (CEO) and Beenish Muneer (Managing Director) of Westfield Event Management.
There are few cultures so universally lauded as the Japanese – from sushi to Pokemon to the sudden explosion of Shiba Inu memes across the internet – and with the arrival of this three-day-event, attendance to this immersive three-day-experience seems like a no brainer.
