The multi-Grammy Award winning band Imagine Dragons have just added a Middle East date to their Mercury World Tour and will be playing on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi at the Etihad Arena on January 26.
Fans in the UAE can expect the band to play the latest singles off the 32-track double album Mercury Acts 1 & 2 such as Follow You, Bones, and Sharks in addition to classics such as Radioactive and Whatever It Takes.

Double the dragons
Earlier this year in July, Imagine Dragons released their sixth studio album Mercury Act 2 which is a sequel to the previous album Mercury Act 1 which was released in 2021.
While Act 1 explores themes such as love, faith, pain, passion and loss, Act 2 focuses on sorting through personal loss and the biggest existential questions of their career.
The legendary Rick Rubin served as executive producer for both albums and is known for his production work for a wide range of popular artists from Tom Petty to the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Metallica.
Their lead single from Mercury Act 2, Bones has gathered of 331 million streams and the music video for the song has over 73 million views.
Over the years, Imagine Dragons have collaborated with some of the worlds top artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa to Avicii and film composer Hans Zimmer.
From Mercury Act 1, their single Enemy was a collaborative effort with American rapper J.I.D and was recorded for the Netflix animated series Arcane. The song premiered on YouTube in October last year and has over 255 million views.
Imagine Dragons tickets and upcoming concerts
Tickets for the band’s Abu Dhabi concert will go on sale starting from October 7 at 12pm. They start at AED 250 and can be purchased through Livenation ME.
