Dust off your leather jacket, Def Leppard is coming to Abu Dhabi. The legendary UK band will be capping off Formula 1 weekend on Sunday 20 November at the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022.
Def Leppard joins Kendrick Lamar and Swedish House Mafia in the line-up, which will also add the UK rapper Dave, who is set to play the Yasalam After-Race Concert on Thursday 17 November.
Def Leppard needs little introduction at this point. The group has sold 110 million albums worldwide, including two Diamond Awards in the US, and are members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame after getting inducted in 2019.
The group will certainly be playing their most iconic hits, including “Pour Some Sugar On Me”, “Rock of Ages” and “Foolin”.
Dave, Thursday’s headliner, was an immediate success when his 2019 debut Psychodrama hit, winning both the Mercury Prize and Album of the Year at the Brit Awards. He’s collaborated with both Drake and AJ Tracey.

“With race weekend almost upon us, we are absolutely delighted to announce two more artists that build a fantastic four-day festival of global music superstars that will be entertaining our biggest ever crowds. Perfectly complimenting the on-track action, the off-track entertainment has something to offer a range of race goers and we are sure that the 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will allow visitors from around the world to make some very special memories,” Saif Al Noaimi, CEO, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management, said/
We’ll see you there!
