With Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab in the background and golden hour casting its glow across the waters, Esquire Middle East cast off its first-ever ‘Esquire Yacht Club’ gathering for a stylish sunset soirée in partnership with resort wear pioneer Orlebar Brown.

Aboard the sleek ‘Santorini’ yacht, guests gathered to toast the spirit of sunshine, travel, and elevated style, echoing Orlebar Brown’s enduring philosophy of “holidaying better.”

Founder Adam Brown took a moment to reflect on the brand’s journey, sharing stories from its early days. “I didn’t want a swim short,” he recalled with a smile. “I wanted a short I could swim in.” That original insight sparked what would become a globally recognised brand synonymous with luxury resort wear and holiday sophistication.

Brown also spoke about the ease with which Dubai embraced the brand, when he tested one of the early Orlebar Brown shorts on one of Dubai’ shores. “Orlebar Brown is about spirit, lifestyle and enjoying holiday with family. It is about sunshine, travel and happiness,” reflected Brown.

Guests from Dubai’s social circuit, the Esquire community, key opinion leader and fashion insiders mingled on deck, many dressed in the latest from Orlebar Brown’s Resort 2025 collection. From crisp linen shirts to vibrant, daring florals and elegant prints tailored swim shorts, the yacht was buzzing with resort elegance.
