Against the glittering backdrop of the Dubai Marina skyline, the second edition of Esquire Middle East’s Jazz Club brought together a stylish crowd for a night that celebrated timeless craftsmanship and artistry. Held at City Social inside Grosvenor House, the evening was a seamless blend of live jazz, great company, and Glenfiddich’s exceptional single malt whiskies.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with a warm reception on City Social’s terrace. With glasses of Glenfiddich in hand, guests reconnected with old friends and forged new connections. The convivial atmosphere reflected Glenfiddich’s enduring philosophy of bringing people together, fostering a sense of community and shared appreciation for excellence.

Esquire Middle East’s Contributing Editor Rob Chilton welcomed the crowd, speaking to Glenfiddich’s enduring legacy as the world’s most awarded single malt whisky. As the lights dimmed, the unmistakable sound of jazz filled the room, with Nick Pritchard and his band delivering a standout performance that perfectly complemented the evening’s theme of timeless elegance.

Throughout the night, guests explored a variety of Glenfiddich’s single malts, including the 12-, 15-, 18-, and 21-Year-Old expressions. Each one highlighted Glenfiddich’s mastery of the craft, but it was the 15- and 21-Year-Old expressions that took centre stage.

The 15-Year-Old Single Malt exemplifies Glenfiddich’s innovative spirit. Crafted using the groundbreaking Solera Vat maturation process, it boasts a rich flavour profile of fudge, vanilla, marzipan, honey, and ginger. Often considered the unsung hero of Glenfiddich’s core range, the 15-Year-Old perfectly balances tradition and forward-thinking creativity, making it a highlight of the evening.

Meanwhile, the 21-Year-Old Gran Reserva offered guests an introduction to Glenfiddich’s Grand Series, an elevated portfolio of luxury whiskies. Aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry barrels before being finished for an additional four months in barrels seasoned with a special blend of Caribbean rum, this whisky delivers a rich, velvety character with notes of toffee, fig, and tropical fruit. Its approachable yet refined profile serves as an invitation to explore the world of Glenfiddich’s high-end whiskies, bridging the gap between craftsmanship and luxury.

By spotlighting these two exceptional whiskies, Glenfiddich demonstrated its philosophy of honouring tradition while embracing innovation, creating the perfect complement to the sophisticated energy of the Esquire Jazz Club.

A true harmony of innovation, tradition, and excellence.
