Stepping into the festive season in the coziest of ways, an Esquire-selected set of Dubai’s tastemakers filled the reservation list of Chalet 105 x Montblanc for a special evening that could’ve been straight from the slopes of the Swiss Alps themselves.

Located within the city’s ever-popular beach club, Twiggy by La Cantine, the seasonal Chalet 103 x Montblanc pop-up offer a cozy chic winter aesthetic that is wonderfully unique within Dubai’s warmer climes.

Surrounded by décor that sets the scene with everything you would expect from a mountainous escape – including vintage furniture, skis and a lovely fireplace – guests revelled in the spirit of the festive season, discussing travel plans, fondue-eating techniques and gifting ideas. It was helpful then that various special edition Montblanc items were on display, tempting those in attendance.

Between the merriment, cozy atmosphere and copious amounts of melted cheese, the guests were welcomed by Esquire Middle East‘s Editor-in-Chief, Matthew Priest, and Isabelle Gianchandani, Regional Marketing Director of Montblanc, who spoke about Esquire‘s on-going collaboration with Montblanc to support and inspire creative writing across the region.

In the true spirit of the season, as a parting gift guests were given a copy of The Anthology – a collection of short stories from aspiring local writers curated by Esquire x Montblanc.
