If you’re looking for a new activity for the Summer, we’ve found something you’re going to want to check out.
The Alley DXB, a glow-in-the-dark padel centre, is bringing a nightclub vibe to the racquet court, and Dubai has never seen anything like it. It’s calling itself “Dubai’s trendiest experience.”
It’s located in Al Quoz beside Warehouse Gym, and while it’s currently under an invite-only soft launch, it’s expected to open its doors in mid-August.
What’s inside? The warehouse is pitch black but features glow-in-the-dark tennis balls, racquets, and neon lines that mark the court. The space provides three padel courts, each with a speaker system, so people visiting or playing can connect their phone and play their favorite tracks.
“We know there are many padel centres here in the UAE, and we didn’t want to be copycats. That’s why we’ve launched something very unique that’s fun. I want us to be the Barry’s Bootcamp or Crank of Padel!” founder of The Alley DXB Khalifa Bin Hendi said to What’s On.
Khalifa is also an avid tennis enthusiast himself and entrepreneur.
“We believe The Alley makes padel more accessible and fun,” he continued..
If you do not know how to play the sport, lessons with the head coach are available.
Khalifa also expressed plans related to The Alley DXB to What’s On, saying “We’ll be launching theme nights and padel-fit classes. We’ll also be hosting birthday parties and maybe even have a live DJ spin some nights, too.”
Sessions range from AED 440 to AED 660 for 90 minutes, depending on how long the game is. Also, membership programs are available.
