- WWE announce Roman Reigns match to its Super Showdown event in Jeddah
- The WWE Super Showdown event will also see Goldberg face The Undertaker, and a 50-man Battle Royal
- The live event is the third installment in the 10-year agreement between the WWE and Saudi Arabia
It isn’t called a Super Showdown for no reason, as is evident by the latest match to be added to the card at the latest installment of WWE Live events in the Saudi Arabia, on June 7, 2019.
Following the news that Finn Balor will be defending his WWE Intercontinental title in Jeddah against Mexican superstar Andrade, the WWE have giving the region’s fans another treat by announcing that former champion Roman Reigns will face off against Shane McMahon at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Dubbed the ‘Super Showdown’ the live event will mark the WWE’s third trip to Saudi Arabia under the 10-year agreement with the Saudi General Sports Authority.
The card will also feature a first-ever meeting between two icons of the pro-wrestling world, Goldberg and The Undertaker; as well as a 50-man battle royal – the largest battle royal in WWE history.
