The topic of design took pride and place at the centre of the latest iteration of Esquire‘s ongoing Gentlemen’s Evening events, held on March 29.
Suitably hosted at the stunningly creative Intersect by Lexus in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a handpicked crowd of guests across the design spectrum, from fashion and interiors to product design.
Guests were treated to a fantastic array of canapes by Intersect’s celebrated chef Tomas Reger, while a series of wildly creative cocktails were on offer courtesy of the event’s sponsors Absolut Elyx.
The main event of the evening saw a live roundtable discussion from three of the city’s most acclaimed and successful purveyors of design: Fair Director of Design Days Dubai, Cyril Zammit; Adrian Azodi the Founder of men’s accessories brand Monsieur Fox; and the irreplaceable Maximilian Busser, the founder of the ultra-highend timepiece manufacturer MB&F.
Chaired by Esquire’s own Matthew Priest, the talks discussed the rise of design appreciation in the Gulf region, and anecdotes about the design processes from the individuals.
