And if you didn’t know who he was already, allow us to introduce Egyptian-French singer, Ash. Since the beginning of his career, the 26 year old musician has released music through his own label, Ash Music, and has now reached over 700 million streams globally.

And he’ll be making his Dubai debut at Gallery 7/40, in Palm West Beach on February 11, 2024. Get your tickets here.

Immediately drawn to music as a child, by age fifteen the prodigious artist had commanded the guitar, and by seventeen he was on his way to becoming a professional DJ. Now a full multi-instrumentalist – guitar, saxophone, keyboard, drums, and synthesizers – Ash intertwines his Egyptian and French heritage into his electronic music, resulting in the distinct sound that fans now know him by.

Born in Cairo but producing his works out of Montreal, Canada, one of Ash’s biggest hits was Mosaïque, an experimental, Middle Eastern groove that he was initially hesitant about releasing at all. Move the clocks forward to today, and Mosaïque has hit over 100 million streams, and continues to soar across streaming platforms.

“One time I was finishing a deep house track, and right before I decided to release it, I added this melodic sounding guitar to the drop,” Ash said in an interview. “Then I realized that combining the Middle Eastern sounds I grew up with and the electronic music I was influenced by was a great blend.”

Known for showcasing up and coming artists from around the world, Gallery 7/40 is now adding music to its deep basket of entertainment. Bringing a wide selection of traditional Greek dishes, guests will be immersed in a fusion of art, music, and indelible Mediterranean flavours.
