Need some new clothes? It’s probably a good time to head down to the mall.

The Dubai Super Sale begins today, giving shoppers at some of Dubai’s biggest malls some incredible bargains – up to 90 percent off at more than 1,500 retail locations across the city.

The Dubai Super Sale will run from May 2 until May 4, as part of a government-backed initiative that wants to solidify the city’s reputation as a shopping destination.

The sale includes hundreds of shops in all shapes and sizes, at locations like Dubai Festival City, Dubai Mall, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, Mall of the Emirates, Burjuman and Ibn Battuta Mall. Timings have also changed, with some stores staying open until 1 am, and cafes and restaurants staying open until 2 am.

There will be deals to be had from a huge range of items, including clothes, accessories, shoes, bags, jewellery, cosmetics, electronics, appliances and homeware.

It’s easy to get shopping too; Careem has said that it will give would-be mall-goers a free one-way taxi ride to the Dubai Mall. Elsewhere, there will be more than 400 brands on sale, ranging from low-end to premium products.

Besides discounts, there are also shopping rewards – including those at Dubai Festival City and City Centre Deira – which are both offering a range of cash-back rewards and giveaways.

Ibn Battuta will interest Esquire-readers in particular, with up to 30 and 60-percent off designer outfits and menswear. Discounts also count towards business attire, hair and skin-care products, leather goods and shoes.

The Dubai Super Sale begins today, and will last this weekend.
