The Dubai Police has added a new member to its fleet: the Lamborghini Urus Performante.
This step marks another year of partnership between the Dubai Police and the city’s Lamborghini dealership.
The regional head of Automobili Lamborghini for the Middle East and Africa, Paolo Sartori, handed the Super SUV keys to Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, the acting chief of Dubai Police. This aligns with Lamborghini’s 60th birthday, as well as its commitment to keep supporting Dubai Police in its role of ensuring public safety.

This Urus Performante isn’t just any high-performance SUV. It’s packed with a twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering a mighty 650 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse can bolt from 0 to 100 kph in a blink of just 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 305 kph.

But what sets this Urus apart is its custom fit out for police work. Its exterior combines traditional green and white colors with the police logo on the hood and doors. It’s equipped with a 360° blue LED light bar and an electric siren on the rear spoiler. And inside, the Urus is kitted out with an armored box, a message display that can fold down, a special trunk compartment for service gear, and a defibrillator for emergency first aid.
The new Lamborghini Urus Performante is expected to be on duty starting this month.
