As the clock ticks closer to the official release of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, eager fans are already forming lines outside the Apple stores at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall.

The anticipation is palpable, with barriers set up outside both stores to maintain safety as the crowd continues to swell, even though the coveted devices won’t be available until tomorrow (meaning an overnight stay for those in line).

The latest smartphones from Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, have new features that certainly seem to have captivated the tech-savvy crowd in Dubai.

The iPhone 15 Pro has moved on from the conventional stainless steel, now boasting a Level 5 titanium body (the same alloy used for the Mars rover). And the once squared-off sides have evolved into rounded edges, reminiscent of the iPhone 6 era, signaling a return to beloved design aesthetics.

Perhaps one of the most talked-about upgrades is the customizable Action Button, which replaces the well-known ringer switch. This new feature allows users to hold the button for a Haptic response and assign specific actions to a single press, such as launching the camera or activating Siri Shortcuts.

To the delight of many, Apple has also embraced USB-C, enabling faster data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps.

Pre-orders for the new devices began last Friday, September 15. Devices will be shipped (and available in-store) starting tomorrow, September 22.

However, it’s thought that the titanium iPhone 15 Pro models will sell out quick. And with potential delays on the horizon, people sure want to guarantee getting a device on launch day tomorrow (even if that means spending a night in the mall).
