- The Dana Ramadan Tent is located in Dubai’s CityWalk
This Ramadan, CityWalk has unveiled the Dana Tent – what is surely Dubai’s most luxurious and extravagant Iftar tent in the city.
The specially-built tent has a dedicated VIP area, room enough for two buffets, a theatre area for authentic Middle Eastern entertainment, an assortment of oil paintings and its very own ventilation system for shisha smoke.
During Ramadan it’s customary for many larger venues to set up tents outside, to accommodate the many people who attend Iftar each evening.

The Dana Ramadan Tent – which is a joint venture by Meraas and Eye Catcher – aims to create the most memorable experience as possible for its guests. To that end, it even has hidden corridors for waiters, meaning visitors won’t be disturbed as they move around the tent.
There is also a special VIP area, that lets families relax in comfort and in privacy.
From a design perspective, the Dana Tent has embraced the modern over a traditional Arabian theme. There’s white and gold pillars, large-scale decorations hanging from the ceiling as well as plush green sofas.

The tent even has its own suction system for shisha smoke extraction and ventilation. The high-ceilings also help filter out the air, ensuring that those who wish to enjoy shisha don’t bother those who are more interested in tucking into the huge array of food on offer.
Speaking at the launch of the Dana Ramadan Tent, the General Manager of Eye Catcher, Ahmed Zakaria, said they wanted the tent to be unlike any other, “[the] Dana Ramadan Tent reflects its strive to offer its customers the most luxurious, modern and finest services as much as our services focus on the same.”

Zakaria went on to say that there would be many competitions during the Holy Month that aim to indulge visitors in the warm and lively atmosphere of the tent. The Arabic competition show – Al Mandoos presented by Abdallah Ismail, sponsored by Meraas, will go live daily from 11 pm – 2 am from the tent and on Sama Dubai TV channel.
The Dana Ramadan Tent is open every day from sunset to 2 am during Ramadan. Prices start from AED180 for Iftar and AED150 for Suhoor.
