The Holy Month of Ramadan is finally upon us.
To mark the beginning of the most spiritual time of year, Cartier has launched a short poetic filmthat celebrates the values of togetherness, generosity and sharing.
The film is based around the Maison’s core belief, reiterated during a time when community and coming together with loved ones is most cherished—Togetherness is a Jewel.
The film features a number of ‘Friends of the Maison’, including Fatima Al-Banawi, Abdulla Al Kaabi, Ramla Ali and Moath Alofi, who the film depicts walking individually through magical desert landscapes before coming together to celebrate, in harmony.
From self-reflection and retreat, to a time of gathering and ‘welcoming those we missed’, the film embodies the spirit of the Holy Month, ending with a celebration, a moment where the community comes together ‘like stars around a crescent moon.’
Narrating the film is Saudi actress and filmmaker Fatima Al-Banawi herself, who recites the poem she wrote as a special tribute for the occasion.

“As Fatima Al-Banawi says so beautifully, this is an important and precious time to come together, to celebrate and to share treasured moments with loved ones. Her poem, brought to life by our Friends of the Maison, serves as a reminder that we are better together, working as one, towards a shared commitment to communities,” Sophie Doireau, Chief Executive Officer of Cartier for the Middle East, India and Africa, said.
To further celebrate the Holy Month, The Maison has curated a selection of gifts to be shared amongst loved ones, including timeless gifts of Cartier classics, the Maison’s classic fragrances now presented in distinctive, beautiful objects inspired by the Holy Month, as well as new ‘precious objects’ to be placed in the home, designed especially for Ramadan.
There are also sections of gifts for both her and him, making it easier to find the right choice for the special people in your life, as well as a section that allows personalisation.
