Yas Marina Circuit and FLASH Entertainment have announced the final name for the Yasalam After Race Concerts, and it’s a doozy.
At long last, Foo Fighters are coming to Abu Dhabi.

With the previously announced headline artists, Khalid, Lewis Capaldi, and Stormzy, the addition of 12-time Grammy® award-winning rockers, led by Dave Grohl, add an unmissable concert to the lineup.
Astonishingly, Foo Fighters have never played the UAE before. Finally that will be rectified as they play the final night of the F1 on December 12.
Since the sad demise of Nirvana in 1994, Dave Grohl has turned his budding solo project that he made tunes for on his off days into one of the world’s greatest arena rock bands starting with the 1995 release of Foo Fighters’ self-titled debut album and only growing with the subsequent addition Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee to their current standing.
The band has sold tens of millions of records and spawned anthems like “This Is A Call,” “Everlong,” “Monkey Wrench,” “My Hero,” “Learn To Fly,” “All My Life,” “Times Like These,” “Best Of You,” “The Pretender,” “Walk,” “These Days,” “The Sky Is A Neighborhood” and more.
Foo Fighters’ monolithic catalogue includes that eponymous debut, The Colour and the Shape, There Is Nothing Left To Lose, One By One, the epic double In Your Honor, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, Wasting Light, Sonic Highways (which shared its title with the double-Emmy-winning Dave Grohl-directed HBO docuseries), and 2017’s international #1 Concrete and Gold, which included the Best Rock Song Grammy winner “Run.”
