It looks like Shakira may have found an even bigger sports star than her ex-husband Piqué in an old friend. Yep, we’re talking about none other than Lewis Hamilton, the 7-time F1 champion and current Mercedes racing driver, who has spotted not once but twice with the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer.
Shakira was spotted in Miami Wednesday on a boat with the racer, not long after the two were seen running in to each other at a restaurant in the area.
The two were seen very near her $20 million mansion, so perhaps festivities continued long into the night after the group finished the boat ride.

Hamilton, 38, is believed to be single at the moment, though he’s been rumoured to be dating Juliana Nalu, and last October was linked to Camila Kendra.
Shakira, of course, has been entrenched in a very high profile break up from her former FC Barcelona and Spain footballer husband, though has recently been linked to none other than Tom Cruise.
But while Cruise and she may be heading in that direction, she’s certainly enjoying the company of Lewis, who was seen holding her hand and then sitting in front of her as she laughed and touched her hair, as seen below.

They certainly had quite the time!
Lewis Hamilton: A history
Esquire Middle East has spoken to Hamilton many times over the years, last in 2021, in which he spoke about having greater aspirations than just sport.
“. Look, when I got to Formula One, it was an amazing experience, but I was trained to be a racing driver. I wasn’t prepared for everything else that came with it – I didn’t have a great support structure around to help me and I found it hard to be me, and I was also still discovering who I actually was as a person. Apart from being in the car and racing, I never really felt that I could be myself and it was a very restricting space. Now, however, I know who I am. This is who I am, and I’m unapologetic about it – why should I apologise for being who I am? You’re right, there has been a lot of growth over the past few years, and discovering what I’m passionate about, what I care about. I realised that I have got a huge platform, and I want to use it for good. I see so many people who have power and don’t do enough, or perhaps not enough of the right things in terms of having a positive impact on younger people, and that is something that I want to have. Ultimately, having all these championships doesn’t really mean anything if you don’t do anything with it,” he told us at the time.
He’s also a style icon, serving as an ambassador for Valentino, and one of the few men who can make that all-pink look work.
Anyhow, we’ll keep you posted if things heat up between the two icons of their respective industries!
