It’s not overstating things to say that the final Formula One race at Yas Marina is one of the biggest sporting events in the Middle East. But the cars are not the only reason why Abu Dhabi becomes the centre of everyone’s calendar. It’s a cultural phenomenon that goes beyond championship standings; you have celebrities showing up like they’re at Fashion Week, brands curating unique experiences for attendees, and of course, the global stars in the post-race concert line-up.
Chivas Regal bringing back their private viewing experience was one of those moments that made the weekend even more memorable. The brand hosted an exclusive hospitality takeover at the W Hotel’s Royal Terrace, reimagining the space as the ‘Regal Terrace’. A classy setting, uninterrupted views of the Yas Marina Circuit, and a live DJ made the affair a highlight for everyone who made the guest list.
You can’t leave out the drinks when the host is a distillery, and the beverage menu definitely delivered. It spotlighted Chivas Regal Crystalgold, a ‘spirit drink’ born from a custom blend that goes through an advanced filtration process to remove all colour while keeping all the depth of an aged liquor. The new release was recently launched at a Dubai event, notably attended by Scuderia Ferrari HP’s Charles Leclerc, who is also the global ambassador for the brand.
Chivas Regal’s collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari HP doesn’t end there. The Regal Terrace also marked the second year of a partnership between both brands, founded on shared values of ambition, precision and progress. As part of that celebration, Scuderia Ferrari HP’s Reserve Driver and Team Principal were welcomed to the space, where they shared their personal reflections on the season.
For anyone who got the chance to step up to the Regal Terrace, the evening was simply one for the books, seamlessly combining the thrill of motorsport with all the sophistication of a heritage label like Chivas Regal.
