The online illusionist is partnering up with Apple Sessions to teach jump-cuts

Popular online illusionist Zach King will be in the UAE at the end of the month Among other things, he’ll be teaching others how he makes his magical videos at Apple stores throughout the UAE.

The YouTuber is part of Apple’s recently expanded Sessions series – the tech company’s tutorial and how-to sessions that take place inside some of its flagship boutiques. He’ll be in town on the 27th of February, at the Dubai Mall Apple Store. 

Zach King has made a name for himself online. He grew enormously popular on Vine, the six-second video sharing social media website that Twitter bought, then made defunct. Currently, he has more than 3.3-million subscribers on YouTube and 20.7-million followers on Instagram.

The YouTuber will be talking about creating illusions such as teleporting and disappearing, using various recording and editing techniques revolving around the “jump cut” and Apple’s own Clips app.

It’s not King’s first time in the UAE, either. The YouTuber first came here in 2015 to film one of his videos about Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah.
