Personally, Anatomy of a Fall and Past Lives are two of my absolute favourites from last year, but there is still many nominees which need viewing.

And a massive congratulations to Justine Triet for a total of FIVE, and well deserved, nominations! Something tells me our predictions may come true (wink face emoji).

Although I’ve yet been able to see it, I’ve also heard tremendous things about The Zone of Interest which, from every reliable source I have, is one of the most monumental films in decades. Writer of the novel on which the movie is based, Martin Amis, died right before the film’s premiere at last year’s Cannes Film Festival. For those curious about director Jonathan Glazer’s previous works, Birth and Sexy Beast are criminally underrated.
