The thriller will be premiered on June 11

The first Arabic licensed original is coming to Netflix this month. The eight-episode series, Whispers, produced by the Saudi Entertainment Phenomena Company “EP Saudi”, tells the story of a family who suffer the unexpected loss of the family patriarch, Hassan, whose mysterious past resurfaces days before the launch of his company’s new smart application.

Told from the varying perspectives of the series’ different characters, the story unfolds as they navigate challenges brought on by family feuds and the struggles of the business world.

Written by Roolan Hassan and directed by Saudi director, Hana Alomair, the series features talents including Abdul Mohsen Alnimer, Shaimaa Al Fadl, Mysoon Alruwaily, Elham Ali, Nada Tawhid, Norah Alanbar, and Leila Arabi, in addition to actors Ali Al Sharif, Osama Al Qass, and Mohamed Ali.

Netflix has recently ramped up its Arabic original titles and other shows on the platform include Justice, Jinn, and Dollar while AlRawabi School for Girls, and Paranormal are still in the production phase.
