Post Malone is asking fans to help him donate up to US$1 million to charity.
The Circles singer is using celebrity fan website Community to help get his cash to good causes that otherwise might be overlooked.
“Not everyone has the ability to financially support causes that may be close to them or that have helped them in the past,” Malone said in a press release.
“The fans are the absolute best and I want to give them the chance to give to charities that mean something to them.”
Fans have been asked to text Malone directly on his Community phone number: 001 817 270 6440 to let him know where he should send some of his money to. Charities currently available include those for COVID-19 relieve, education, homelessness, hunger, mental health and veterans.
This isn’t the first time Malone has given to charity; earlier this week he performed a live concert of Nirvana covers on YouTube, raising more than US$500,000 for the United Nations COVID-19 response fund. Google matched every dollar donated with US$2.
