Emirates has said that they will not be resuming normal flights until July at the earliest, according to their updated schedule.
Arabian Business reports that the carrier was originally supposed to resume scheduled flights by mid-May but in its latest inventory, reservations for all flights between 15th May and 30th June have been suspended.
The Dubai carrier is currently operating repatriation flights to select destinations. According to its website, some Emirates flights from July onwards are open for booking, although the airline says that they are subject to change depending on developments of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
However, a website which tracks airline routes – Routes Online – has posted a list of Emirates’ revised flight schedule from July 1 onwards.
When contacted by Arabian Business, an Emirates spokesperson confirmed that “some of our flights are available for booking”.
“However, the situation remains dynamic and these flight services could be subject to change,” the spokesperson added. “We aim to provide our customers with as much notice as possible should there be any changes.”
The spokesperson added that Emirates is continuing to closely monitor the pandemic, with an eye to resuming services as soon as conditions allow.
