Apple has just pulled the wraps off two new MacBook Airs, now powered with its latest M3 chip.
The introduction of the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models comes with promises of unparalleled efficiency, breathtaking speeds, and the usual MacBook design.
The heart of these new models is the M3 chip, which brings up to 60% faster performance compared to the M1 models, and astonishingly, up to 13 times speedier operations than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Airs. That should lead to increased speed across the board, from casual browsing to intensive photo and video editing tasks.

Apple’s design philosophy remains intact with the new MacBook Air M3, maintaining its iconic thin and light form factor. Yet, it now boasts up to 18 hours of battery life, support for dual external displays, and Wi-Fi speeds that double those of its predecessor. The MacBook Air continues to be available in the four usual colors, complete with that anodization process to minimize fingerprints, ensuring your device looks pristine for longer.

Apple was keen to point out that the M3 chip not only boosts performance but also enhances the laptop’s AI capabilities.

Apple’s emphasis on AI extends through macOS, with the M3’s 16-core Neural Engine powering a suite of machine learning tasks. Does that mean we’ll be seeing an Apple AI in future?
Customers can order the new MacBook Air with M3 starting Monday, March 4, on apple.com/ae/store. It will begin arriving to customers, and will be in Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers, starting Friday, March 8.
The 13-inch MacBook Air with M3 starts at AED 4,599, and the 15‑inch MacBook Air with M3 starts at AED 5,499 . Both are available in midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray.
