The ‘Golden Boot’ of football is finally here.
Nike have released a new football boot for the world’s best finishers — the likes of American Alex Morgan and Englishman Harry Kane.

The design of the PhantomVNM has only one feature — to assist players to score goals. Featuring a series of textured zones to create powerful strikes, the new silhouette also focuses on accuracy with the instep’s Precision Pwr strike zone.

Nike teamed up with its research lab to utilise a robotic leg to test strikes from a variety of angles with urethane injected ‘blades’ across the instep.
The 13 ridges of the Precision Pwr strike zone are set at specific angles and ascending heights to help keep the ball down if it is miss-hit and to provide bite on the ball.

Much like its counterpart in the Phantom family, PhantomVNM increases the strike zone area by covering the laces, giving PhantomVNM a 30 percent larger strike zone than Hypervenom3.
It will officially be available in store by end of the month (Jan 19 on Nike.com and 28 Jan at the Nike store).
The PhantomVNM will be available at Nike Dubai Mall, retailing at AED 769 for Kids and AED 1249 for adults. A small-sided version, featuring Zoom Air cushioning, will also be available.
