The public finally has a chance to stay in hotel suites designed by the one and only Zaha Hadid.
The beloved designer, who died in 2016 at the height of her fame, designed ME Dubai as one of her final projects, making it the only hotel to be fully designed inside and out by the designer.
While the hotel opened a year ago within the Opus by Omniyat building in Dubai’s downtown, until now its suites have never been open to bookings, and have only been stayed in by top VIPs and dignitaries.
Each of its suites is characterised by curves, sharp angles and bold materials, a testimony to Hadid’s unique design style. Boasting views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai’s skyline, the suites are the hotel’s pinnacle, ME, each offering a bar, pool table and a jacuzzi in the bathroom.

The Personality Suite is designed to encourage freedom and self-expression, allowing guests to step back into their element. Expansive and well-lit, the striking interior is inspired by the golden sand dunes of Dubai and offers unique views into the void of the Opus and a fresh perspective of the Dubai cityscape. With a separate bedroom and lavish marble bathroom, this sought-after space is an unmissable, one-of-a-kind hotel experience for those in the know.
With every detail carefully thought through and a balance between form and function, the Passion Suite is meticulously designed to show that beauty is in the detail. Floor-to-ceiling windows capture Dubai’s natural light and the city beyond. Designed in either desert or midnight-blue tones, the Passion Suite is intended to display a bold and charismatic personality.
The modernist Chic Suite is furnished with a super king-size bed, a spacious bathroom and dramatic landscape windows. All Chic Suites are designed in a midnight-blue theme with curved and flowing spaces allowing guests to be transported into a world of calm and serenity.
The hotel’s spa, Wellness has an extensive range of uplifting massages and expert treatments from an array of brands, as well as a couple’s room.
