We talk to the Dubai-based visual artist about his inspiration, motivation and satisfaction

This week on the Esquire Q&A Podcast we speak to Gary Yong, a Dubai-based visual artist who has made a name for himself thanks to his own distinct style and creative process.

Yong – who also goes by the name ‘Enforce One’ – is one of the most well-respected street artists working in the UAE and has become renowned for his larger-than-life murals and fine attention to detail.

Originally from New Zealand, the artist was recently chosen by Glenfiddich as part of its ‘Mavericks DXB Program‘, and collaborated with the storied brand in order to reimagine the sleeve that adorns the Grande Couronne packaging, merging Scottish and French heritage with UAE traditions.

We sat down with the artist to discuss the project, and the nitty-gritty of his creative process…
