Shadia Bseiso

Breaking ground as well as breaking heads, Shadia Bseiso is the first Arab women from the Middle East to be signed by the sports entertainment Goliath, WWE.

In an invitation-only talent tryout held in Dubai in 2017, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trained, Jordanian CrossFit enthusiast beat out 40 other male and female elite athletes to earn a WWE developmental contract.

Bseiso’s athletic abilities, confidence, and natural charisma – of which she showcased as a bilingual TV presenter in the region – were key assets allowing her to earn the opportunity to train with the world’s best wrestlers, breaking down barriers to perhaps one day become the first Arab woman to become a WWE Superstar.
