Some people possess so much talent that simply their presence makes everyone around them better. This was the case of Zinédine Zidane on a football pitch who, throughout his career with the ball at his feet, could raise the quality of things from good to great; from great to golden.

The point is, Zinédine Zidane can make anyone look good. So it seems a pretty safe bet that luxury goods brand Montblanc has chosen to work even closer with one of its ‘Mark Makers’ to release a capsule collection of luxury travel essentials.
Working together in close and active collaboration, Zidane and Montblanc’s Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta have created a set of five functional and elegant pieces in black and a green-hued pewter colour, suited to the lifestyle needs of world travelers.
The collection comprises of a duffle bag, cabin trolley bag, leather passport holder, cross-body sling bag designed to carry smaller personal items and a washbag – each made from leather and lightweight fabric and blending the recognizable brand codes of Montblanc leather collections. In a nice little wink to Zidane’s legendary footballing career, the pieces also have pentagon label with a football on it.
“It was fascinating to be part of every step of the process from creating the designs to production, and even testing the products,” said Zidane. “This new experience gave me real insight into Montblanc. It resulted in a collection that truly fits my travel style and hopefully that of many other frequent travellers. I hope people will enjoy it.”
Now, judging by the effect that Zidane has on other people, we’re pretty certain that they will.
