'Once Upon a Deadpool' is the holiday film we deserve
In what proves to be another notch in the 'amazing marketing stunts' belt of the Deadpool executives, Ryan Reynolds is back this festive period reprising his role as the 'Merc with the Mouth' in a 'family-friendly' film.
And he's not alone. Deadpool has recruited Fred Savage - who reprises his role as the innocent grandson from The Princess Bride. Well, sort of. The actor is actually kidnapped by the titular Deadpool and forced to play the character against his will to promote the new release of Deadpool 2 (a PG-13 version).
According to the trailer, the re-cut version is more family-friendly (featuring additional shots with Fred Savage who - we imagine - is key to hiding the more... 'adult' parts of the original movie).
