It might look a bit Gordon Gecko, but the resurgence of heavily ’90s inspired fashion has not stopped short of the boardroom, with ‘CorpCore’ becoming a serious trend for the upcoming seasons in Menswear.

We know this, because, well, we’re smart like that, but also because CorpCore was central to the BOSS show at this week’s Milan Fashion week.

Known for its uncompromising dedication to high end tailoring, BOSS reinforces the brand’s core motto, Be Your Own Boss, with a star-studded show packed with everyone from decorated athletes like Syrian Olympic swimmer, Yusra Madini and former UFC champ, Luke Rockhold, to models like Luka Sabatt and Gigi Hadid.

Hugo Boss’s ‘Techtopia’

The new collection, labeled ‘CorpCore’, saw BOSS transform the fashion show into into its own Techtopia, a brief glimpse into the futuristically luxurious world of tomorrow. The new collection revamps the traditional codes of office attire by putting a contemporary twist on classic staples of the male/female wardrobe, from blazers and suits to shirts and pencil skirts.

Following the success of the “see now, buy now” model used in previous campaigns, BOSS made a selection of styles from the F/W 2023 collection available to shop online immediately, allowing its digital-first customers to purchase runway looks as soon as they were announced.

The BOSS Fall/Winter 2023 collection is available online here, and in-store at BOSS retail locations around the globe.

They say dress for the job you want, and dress as the person you want to be. Lucky for us, sweatpants are no longer the work-day staple.
