If you’re from the UAE, you may want to take note of the name EZOW—you’re about to hear a lot more of him. The Emirati-rapper got his start at the prodigious age of 16, and although he dresses the part (unlike most modern hip-hop artists) EZOW prides himself on a lack of—rather than an over abundance of—cursing in his lyrics. Its a bold decision considering what is ‘hot’ today, yet one that sets him apart from his contemporaries.
Things are looking up the young musician following the success of his debut single “Pay Off” surpassing 100k views on YouTube in under a week, and he already boasts more than a million followers on Instagram. This month, he’ll be performing alongside Tyga at Zero Gravity in Dubai. Write the name down, EZOW.
When you’re recording and trying to channel your creativity, do you have any rituals that help awaken your inner muse?
When I’m in the studio, I try to create the right vibe to feel comfortable. This means playing my favourite beats, getting the lighting just right, and ensuring that there is good energy around me. I always have my essentials, including a notebook filled with ideas, a pen that feels just right in my hand, and a cup of something to keep me going. I like to create the ambiance, so that my creativity can just flow.
What things do you consider for your onstage wardrobe?
When I’m on stage, I like to wear unique outfits that match the theme of my show. It’s not just about the performance but also the artist’s look and presence that allow me to stand out and leave an impact. It’s called a ‘show’ for a reason.
Later this month (May 10) you’re going to play a show with Tyga, who is a legend. How does that feel? Do you have any specific outfits planned for the big night?
The Tyga show is going to be insane! As for my outfits, I’ve got a few ideas in mind, but I’m all about spontaneity and going with the flow. But after all, this is Dubai—this city is all about bringing that next-level style and swagger, so you can be ready for something special.

Fit One
This look is all about laidback style. It is casual, but has more than a hint of luxury about it. The fit is perfect, accentuating my silhouette and making me feel like I’m taking my style to a new level. It is comfortable, and that is important in helping me create my vibe.
Fit Two
This Varsity Jacket is a timeless blend of vintage and modern styles. The colour combination gives it a contemporary feel while maintaining that classic varsity charm. When I put it on, I’m part of a tradition of dreamers who never stop pushing forward. The embroidered tribute adds a personal touch that resonates with me. It’s a statement piece that speaks to my belief that anything is possible.
Fit Three
This fit is about making a bold statement. The copper brown jacket from Amiri exudes confidence, and the glass beads add an extra edge. It’s playful and unexpected paired with the striped tee and trousers. The trousers especially bring in that pop of colour that ties the whole look together. I feel ready to turn heads and make an impact when I wear this.
