This Rolls-Royce’s drinks chest costs more than your car
- Rolls-Royce has released a drink’s chest that’s more expensive than most family saloons
- The chest – which is meant to sit snugly in your Rolls-Royce motor – is made form aluminum and carbon fibre
- It comes as an additional add-on for new Rolls-Royce buyers
- The price? A cool US$50,000 (AED185,000)
If you’re lucky enough to be able afford your own Rolls-Royce Ghost or Phantom, and want to really dial up the luxury. This drinks chest might be for you.
At US$50,000, it’s made using the same exacting standards as each RR motor by hand, and the same materials.
The carbon fibre and aluminum chest is finished with Tudor Oak Wood, and then wrapped in a natural grain black leather. At the touch of a button, the lid turns into a serving tray, revealing the two coolers - one for drinks and the other for canapes.
The chest comes with four crystal flutes, mother-of-pearl spoons for dishing out caviar, a caviar cooler, and infinite bragging rights.
The chest will also comfortable fit a variety of chests, caviar and... green beans?
The entire chest is lit by the LED lighting found in modern Rolls cars, not to mention how the flutes are arranged in a way to mimic the V12 engine found in many top-end Rolls.
All this could be yours for US$47,000, which is around the same price for an entire Mercedes C-Class.
