How important is social media in your life?
Professionally, it has beena huge part of it. It was how I was first noticed, and also how I am able to keep making connections with my fan base.
What makes you stand out?
Social media is so overcrowded, that I try to stand out by being real and honest. By showcasing the real me, it helps create genuine bonds with people and I feel like if you have a genuine energy, then that will resonates with other around you.
What do you hope to do with your influence?
I feel like the root of me wanting to become a singer was because I want to influence people in a positive way. I want to help open people’s minds to something new, and if I can do that then that is my ultimate goal — if singing is the method of doing it, then so be it.
Who influences you?
I get influenced by a whole variety of things, by art, music, experiences...I’ve been travelling for a while now and hearing stories of people I meet along the way helps me understand things better and write better songs.
