If you’re going to get married, then you might as well do it in style like Adnan Ul Mulk.
Not content with a lavish engagement party at Palazzo Versace Dubai, Adnan and his bride Noorie invited 10,000 guests to five parties and six events spread across the Indian capital at the end of July. It all cost a mere AED74 million ($20million).
Maybe he wanted to get one up on his sister whose 2013 wedding saw Dubai’s Atlantis Hotel transformed into a Mughal Palace. Or his dad, Shaji, who could only muster 4,000 guests for his own wedding.
But then again, if you one of the key people behind the family business, Mulk Holdings, you can probably afford to splash a bit of cash. The company is the biggest maker of aluminium panels found on skyscrapers around the world, all of which has helped make the Mulks worth over $2billion.
