Acclaimed chef Jason Atherton is all set to welcome Dubai diners into his culinary fantasy with the introduction of ‘Row on 45’ – a innovative new concept that offers an elevated 17-course dining experience.
Born out of Atherton’s vision for a luxury penthouse apartment, where he could welcome guests into his home and cook for them, Row on 45 is a dinner-only private experience limited to only 22 guests.
Located in Dubai Marina’s The Grosvenor House, the stunning restaurant is the epitome of sophistication and refinement, designed to resonate with a sense of accomplishment from both the guest and the celebrated chef.
The restaurant revolves around the idea of a celebrated old friend’s home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that delights and comforts you.
According to Atherton, the 17-courses Haute cuisine menu is inspired by the chef’s career, with each dish finely tuned to what he describes as a ‘Refinement of Work’ (ROW).
Billed as a ‘culinary journey’ the experience at Row on 45 unfolds in three ‘Acts’ (The Finest Welcome, The Pinnacle, The Grand Finale), as guests are invited to roam through the apartment-style venue, visiting the Champagne Lounge (featuring a residential-style bar), the show kitchen, and the Chef’s Library.
Each act is carefully scripted to immerse the diner in a world of ‘gastronomic excellence’ with the chefs and sommeliers curating and serving each course, while sharing the story and insight behind every dish.
As a multi-award winning chef, Jason Atherton is no stranger to Dubai having previously opened his renowned Marina Social restaurant to the city, but in his formative years he worked under Gordon Ramsay at the now-closed Verre restaurant in Dubai Creekside.
With the opening of Row on 45, Atherton looks all set to leave his definitive mark on the city’s culinary landscape.
