These Seiko Street Fighter watches are worth fighting for
Seiko has unveiled limited edition Street Fighter versions of its popular Seiko 5 watch.
The watches were inspired and designed by some of the game’s central characters, including Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Zangief and Blanka.
The Seiko 5 Sports is one of the oldest automatics watches out there. Introduced in 1968, the Seiko 5 has become a bastion of watchmaking known for both its robust movement and its wallet-friendly pricing.
Over the years it has received a few collaborations (including Queen Guitarist Brian May), and its sporty/diver design is one that has truly stood the test of time.
Each of the Street Fighter watches include Seiko’s Caliber 4R36, with 24 Jewels, optional manual-winding, and a 41-hour power reserve. All are water resistant to 10 meters, and have see-through case backs.
The collection is limited to 9,999 pieces for each watch and available via Seiko’s online store.
