Huawei MatePad Pro 5G arrives in the UAE
Huawei has unveiled the MatePad Pro 5G – which looks suspiciously like another tablet that we know of…
The MatePad is a10.8-inch tablet, that claims to be the first to have wireless charging (and two-way at that, so you can use it to juice up other gadgets). It also comes with a keyboard case and M-Pencil stylus, as well as 5G connectivity and the ability to mirror the screen of a paired smartphone.
You get a 2560x1600 pixel screen, with barely-there bezels (Huawei claims the MatePad Pro has a 90% screen to bezel ratio). Under the hood, you get a Kirin 990 processor and a 7,250mAh battery.
The tablet can charge both the keyboard and the stylus when attached, and like its MateBook laptops it can mirror a connected EMUI device (another Huawei phone, essentially).
The 5G version is available right away, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are also Wi-Fi and 4G models available.
