Longines’ new Flagship History is a dress watch with class
Inspired by its Flagship models of the 1950s and 1960s, Longines has produced a new blacked-out and fully modern take on its iconic dress watch.
Apart from the black dial, you also get pink gold highlights and the Flagship logo front and center.
The new watch is part of the Heritage line, and comes with a 38.5mm stainless steel case, with beveld lugs that slight inwards.
Of course, the highlight is the black lacquered and domed dial, paired with those pink gold hands, indices and branding.
Unlike the original mid-century models, you also get an open-dial small seconds and a black date wheel.
As for the movement, expect Longines’ in-house 27-jewel L615 automatic, operating at 4Hz with a power reserve of 42-hours.
It comes with a black alligator strap with white stitching.
The Flagship Heritage is now available via Longines website. It retails for US$1,675.
