Introducing the Royal Oak Audemars Piguet Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT
Audemars Piguet has just released a brand new Royal Oak: the Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT.
The new watch mixes haute horlogerie with the brand’s token classic watchmaking. The chunk new AP sits at 44mm, and has replaced the black ceramic bezel with a sandblasted titanium version. It now comes on a grey rubber strap.
The previous version – which was announced back in 2018 – had gold and black indices and hands. This version does away with the colour, and embraces slate-grays and white and silverindices.
Under the hood, you get a manually-would caliber 2954 movement, with a GMT function, flying tourbillon and frankly huge 237-hour power reserve.
The new Royal Oak Audemars Piguet Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT is limited to just 30 pieces, and will cost around US$200,000.
