Emirates is resuming passenger flights to these 9 destinations on May 21
Emirates has revealed that it is resuming passenger flights to nine destinations around the world including cities in North America, Europe and Australia.
The Dubai-based airline will resume passenger flights to London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney and Melbourne.
However, there are a few conditions for passengers.
Firstly, travellers will only be accepted if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries.
If they are flying back to Dubai, passengers will require an approval from the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) for UAE residents.
Emirates recently announced a series of initiatives to keep it's staff and passengers safe on flights.
Thermal scanners will monitor the temperatures of all passengers and employees stepping into the airport. Physical distancing indicators have been placed on the ground and at waiting areas to help travellers maintain the necessary distance during check-in and boarding.
The airport team has also installed protective barriers at each check-in desk to provide additional safety reassurance to passengers and employees during interaction over the counter.
