Mick Jagger, Will Smith, Priyanka Chopra to participate in ‘India’s biggest concert’ for Covid-19 charity
Celebrities from all over the world are coming together to take part in ‘iFor India’, a virtual concert to raise funds for coronavirus relief.
iForIndia will bring together over 85 performers for virtual performances. Nick Jonas and wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Bryan Adams, Joe Jonas and wife Sophie Turner, A.R. Rahman, Jay Sean and Mindy Kaling are some of the celebrities who will also make appearances during the four-hour fundraiser.
The concert was created by Indian filmmakers Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar.
"For the first time ever, the Indian entertainment industry and friends of the industry are coming together to organize the biggest home-to-home concert to ever happen from India," the organizers wrote in the fundraiser's description on Facebook.
"As the grand finale of the #SocialForGood Live-athon, the 'I for India' initiative is an attempt to bring people together in solidarity against the challenges that this global pandemic has thrown at us."
