Apple day-to-night will transform certain apps during the Holy Month
The Holy Month of Ramadan has arrived, and Apple's App Store is helping celebrate.
Not only will the App Store offer up a selection of curated Ramadan-specific apps, but many of those apps will now change in the day versus the night – in an effort to mimic users' habits before and after sunset.
During the day, expect wellness and self-improvement apps including productivity and casual gaming. Then at night, there will be added emphasis on streaming video content, as well as more hardcore gaming.
There are also new illustrations in the dedicated App Store experience, drawn my Moroccan artist Mohamed Smyej.
Almost more importantly, this is the first Ramadan that sees the entire App Store entirely in Arabic.
