Everything you need to know about the Bottega Residency scheme
If, like us, you’re searching for every glittering shard of good-news you can get your working-from-home hands on, then prepare to find a slice of solace in Bottega Veneta’s theatre of joyous distraction.
The Italian leather-led Fashion House has launched a new multi-platform concept in an aim to ‘share strength, positivity and creativity across the globe’. The approach centres itself around a Bottega residency scheme, and will see its space lent to collaborators, muses and talents perform their craft in all varying forms.
In a bid to instil some normality untoward these troubling times, live music performances, the recipes of rising chefs and ‘Sunday movie nights’ will all be played out across Instagram, Youtube, Apple Music and Spotify, emulating the routine and social activity of pre-pandemic weekends, though if we know Bottega like we do, the performances will be anything short of just your ordinary weekend.
“Creativity and strength lie at the heart of Bottega Veneta. In this highly distressing time, we feel a responsibility to celebrate those values and ignite a sense of joy and hope in our community and beyond.” — Daniel Lee
Consistency, warmth and inspiration is proving increasingly sparse through the tidal-wave of vexing news and melancholic updates, so bravo, Bottega, and all hopeful eyes on you for the first instalment of welcome entertainment.
