Here's how you can watch the Deontay Wilder v. Tyson Fury fight in the UAE
Are you ready to ruuuummmmble? In what is possibly the most exciting rematch in the world of heavyweight boxing, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are set to clash in Las Vegas this weekend.
The duo last fought each other in 2018, a bout which saw Fury rise from near unconsciousness after being knocked down twice by Wilder. But their 2018 bout in Los Angeles ended in a controversial draw.
Now, Deontay Wilder will defend his WBC heavyweight title and is hoping to break Muhammad Ali's record of 10 straight world heavyweight title defenses but is facing tough talk from Fury who said he will "rip his [Wilder] heart out and feed it to him".
Where is the Fury v. Wilder 2 taking place?
They take each other on at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 11pm US time.
What has Fury said so far:
"It's Las Vegas. I want to put on a show," Fury said in Las Vegas.
"Wilder is not going to beat me. His power is not going to hurt me. I want a knockout this time. I'd prefer to go down swinging than outbox him and not get the decision. I'm going to make it so that I'm in control and I take it out of anybody's hands. I'll step him up until he can't go anymore, until he is going to quit or he is knocked out."
"I am going to give him his first loss. That's what I'm going to do to Deontay Wilder."
Fury is currently undefeated with a record of 29-0-1.
What has Wilder said so far:
Deontay Wilder or the Bronze Bomber as he is known, in November 2019, knocked out Luis Ortiz with an impressive single punch to retain WBC heavyweight title. The 32-year-old Wilder now has an 42-0-1, with 41 knockouts record and this was his 10th WBC world heavyweight title defence.
Wilder however seems unfazed by Fury's tough talk, something the boxer known as the Gypsy King is known for. Instead he said that his rematch with Tyson Fury is "bigger, if not better than Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao".
On the 2018 fight he told CNN:
"I'm glad that it was a controversial decision. I'm glad that (Fury) even got up," said Wilder.
"I was surprised on the outside, but inside I was overwhelmed. I was excited because this fight was living up to the hype. This was another score for the heavyweight division."
What time does it start?
The fight is set to begin at 8am UAE time, Sunday, February 23.
