Game of Thrones and Avengers: Endgame among most Googled names in 2019
Google's list of the UK's 'most searched for names in 2019' has been unveiled, and you'll probably be able to guess most of them.
The biggest TV show to ever grace the small screen – Game of Thrones – premiered its eighth and final season this year, so it's not even slightly surprising to hear that HBO's epic was very popular across a number of categories.
This included 'TV shows' and 'how to', as well as landing in the top 10 'trending queries'.
Elsewhere, superhero showstopper Avengers: Endgame also made the cut, with 'Thanos' and the movie's title making their mark on the trending queries list.
Marvel Studios will be pleased to know that the Infinity War sequel nabbed the number one spot in the 'movies' category, too, with Joker and Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood not far behind.
The top cluster of 'celebrities' was lead by I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmate Caitlyn Jenner, while Love Island's Tommy Fury and actor Liam Neeson proved massively popular aswell.
For any sports enthusiasts out there, you most likely helped in getting the rugby, women's football and cricket world cups into the top four searched 'sporting events'.
Now let your weary fingers rest.
