Paul Smith’s long leopard-print coat is the statement piece of the season

Paul Smith’s office is as far away from minimalist as you can get.
The stacked bookshelves within the British designer’s luxurious London office is a clash of patterns, tomes, colours, samples and textures – and also the inspiration for his AW19 collection.
In tribute to his personal aesthetics, photo prints have been mixed with ’90s graphics and block colours, with animal print pieces added to create even more contrast.
Faux snake print leather material is used to create classic bomber jackets, long riding coats and skinny trousers in rich red or dark blue colours, but our personal pick from the season’s collection is this rather magnificent long leopard-print coat that will unquestionably be the statement piece of the season.
