Here's exactly how, and when, you can watch The Mandalorian when it launches on Disney+
After many months of anticipation, the Star Wars spinoff show The Mandalorian is set to debut on the new Disney+ streaming service. Taking place between Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, The Mandalorian follows the story of a lone gunfighter played by Pedro Pascal on the outer edge of the galaxy.
The service costs US$7 a month or US$70 a year and is available on most streaming platforms, including Roku, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromecast, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Amazon Fire TV devices. Not sure if you're going to stick with the service? Well, Disney is offering a week free of it, so you can at least watch the first episode of The Mandalorian before canceling your subscription.
The Mandalorian marks the first-ever live-action Star Wars spinoff, and with a cast that also includes Gina Carano, Werner Herzog, Ming-Na Wen, and Apollo Creed himself, Carl Weathers—the expectations are high. Jon Favreau, best known for his massive Marvel success, serves as the series showrunner, while individual episodes are directed by the likes of Taika Watiti (who also does the voice of IG-11).
After the debut on November 12, the show's eight episodes will be released weekly, according to Disney.
