World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall on lifting 500 kgs and working out with Schwarzenegger
It’s not often that you hear of someone successfully lifting 500 kilos in a world record deadlift.
The Beast, Eddie Hall shattered records in 2017 and also took home the title of the World’s Strongest Man. But it wasn't an easy journey to get there.
He says in order to fulfill his quest to become the World's Strongest Man he had to eat, sleep and breathe weights and he basically turned into a hermit to focus on his goal - working out twice a day and only seeing his family on one day for the week for the whole year.
The former truck mechanic turned the world’s strongest man turned Hollywood actor is in the Esquire Q&A studio this week to talk about his gruelling training regime, working out with Arnold Schwarzenegger and the difficulty of travelling when you’re a big man.
